Feline Inspired Combinations

Performing with a cat-like quality, these combinations are inspired by the slow, deliberate, sneaky and playful nature of cats. This workshop asks you to step out of your comfort zone and try a new avenue of movement, combining head, arm, hand, shoulder and leg movements with 'bellydance' isolations to create a sinuous feline-esque look.

    Shimmy 'til Your Head Explodes!

Though it could perhaps be better titled "Shimmy, Pop, and Spin," this workshop will focus primarily upon various Shimmy and Vibration techniques utilized by M'chelle in her "every day" dancing, along with a choreography better known amongst close friends as "the Duraflame Weight Loss System." Students should expect to MOVE, as the dance will incorporate shimmy, vibration layering, poppy-jumps, and lots of spins. Not for the faint of heart, or baby beginners. It might be wise to familiarize yourself with "Duraflame" by the Toids before coming to class...
