The Heartland MECDA chapter in Wichita, Kanas, is planning a fall event and would appreciate being told of workshop dates that have already been scheduled so we can try to avoid conflicts. We are looking at September, October, and, maybe, early November.

  • If possible and it appeals to you, save the date of September 21st. It's a Sunday afternoon, just north of Des Moines at a very unique location. This will be sponsored by Dance Arabesque from Des Moines and located on the goat dairy/ cheese company farm, Northern Prairie Chevre. It will be a dance celebration with costume, food, wine vendors and of course lots of goat cheese. Two fabulous Iowa wineries have volunteered to do samplings so far, we have three costume vendors on board with lots more planned. And the best part......it's FREE. More information will be coming, check out our website at www.northernprairiechevre.com. We will ask that performers and vendors RSVP so we can plan ahead.
This is the second year for this activitie, it was fabulous last year, we hope it will be bigger and better this year!
